The Friedrichstadt-Palast can be easily reached by public transport. Metro and tram stop are literally right outside the main entrance and the train stations Oranienburger Strasse and Friedrichstrasse are only a five minute walk away. Opposite of the Palace is a taxi rank. If you arrive by car you can park just ‘around the corner’.

Attention: Construction site Unter den Linden/Friedrichstraße

As part of the extension of subway line 5, there will be significant construction projects on the streets surrounding the Friedrichstadt-Palast. As of 07/01/2012, the subway line 6 between U Friedrichstraße and U Französische Straße (1 stop) will be interrupted until the end of October 2013.

From 07/13/2012 the above ground construction will start resulting in the inhibition of the southern lane of Unter den Linden (west-east direction), the northern lane remains open in the east-west direction during the entire construction period. The east-west direction of the nothern lane may only be used by public transport, all others have to drive around on Französische Straße and Charlottenstr.

Parking Lots
There is no free parking near Friedrichstadt-Palast. On Johannisstraße, a car park is available around the clock (€4 for 3h, €1 per additional hour). However, there may be long lines at the pay station after the show. This parking lot is not run by Friedrichstadt-Palast.
