Jörn-Felix Alt
For Jörn-Felix Alt, his ambition quickly paid off. Amongst other things, he could be admired in the ensemble of the ‘Junge Oper’ (Young Opera) at Stuttgart’s State Opera, in Kurt Weill’s One Touch of Venus in Dessau as well as in George Gershwin’s Crazy for you in Leipzig. The charismatic Alt, however, does not only know how to impress the audience, but also the experts. In 2006, he won first prize at the state and national ‘Jugend musiziert’ competition in the ‘Musical’ category. In addition, Jörn-Felix Alt was the winner of the sponsorship award at the 2009 junior competition of the ‘German National Singing Competition’. Since the end of February, Jörn-Felix Alt, in the role of Yma, is radiating glitter and glamour on the world’s largest stage. |

Dorothea Lorene
In 1997, Dorothea Lorene came to Germany for a number of guest performances and ended up making Germany her home. At Friedrichstadt-Palast, she wowed audiences in shows such as Elements and Jingle Bells and performed at Deutsche Theater and Berlin Philharmonic Theater. With performances in RTL’s hit show “Let’s Dance”, among other things, the charismatic soul singer was also able to make an impression on TV. In addition, Dorothea Lorene went on tour with Udo Jürgens and performed with singers such as Chaka Khan, Curtis Stigers, Patti Autsen, Al Jarreau, and James Moody. Now, Dorothea Lorene will again impress Friedrichstadt-Palast visitors with her fantastic voice in the resumption of Yma. |

Koffi Missah
Koffi Missah was born in London Kentish Town. After finishing school, his successful live performances soon opened all doors to him, and he became a studio singer for TV and radio advertisement spots for companies, such as Coca Cola and Dubonet Red. Koffi Missah completed his dance and vocal education at the Pineapple Dance Studios, and subsequently studied at the Actors Centre Covent Garden. Upon his graduation, he got engaged by Arlene Phillips for the world premiere of Starlight Express in London. Eventually, he arrived in Germany, where his successes kept continuing with Buddy in Hamburg and his lead role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat in Essen. More musical performances followed with the role of Victor in Smokey Joe’s Café (London) and Rum Tum Tugger in Cats (London and Hamburg). Koffi Missah’s personal highlights include his second soloist single “Shelter”, a number one song in the English dance charts. Furthermore, he composed the theme song “Smile” for the same-titled TV show on RTL2, he sang the title song “On the town” for the TV series “Flotter Dreier” (SAT1), and created the dance track “Shiver” for the motion picture “Wilt”. Koffi Missah’s latest appearances took place in La Cage aux Folles in Bozano and at Stars in Concert in Berlin. |

Meike Jürgens
Meike Jürgens started taking piano lessons in 1986. Shortly thereafter, she followed up with a professional vocal education for rock, pop, and classics. Her passion for dance and song kept growing, and in 2000, the enthusiastic musician from Berlin eventually completed her education as a musical performer at the Ballett-Centrum Kurfürstendamm-Karree. Several lead roles followed in musicals, such as Guys & Dolls in Saalbau Neukölln and Sisi – Kaiserin der Herzen in the Schillertheater. Her vocal and acting talents could be appreciated in several shows, including Sharks und die Show in the Akademie der Künste, Sechs Tanzstunden in sechs Wochen & Over the Rainbow in the Renaissance Theater, and Funcalitious Fantasy in the Big Eden. Consequently, she made the first place at the Musica Vitale contest, and second place at the first Sylter Musical Contest in 2001. Meike Jürgens’ latest performances include her as the lead singer at Disco Inferno, Eighties4ever, Uptown Saturday Night, as well as other projects, such as the girl group My Girls casted by 104.6 FM in 2002. She was one of the three Qi singers in the Friedrichstadt-Palast’s success show “Qi”. |

U-Show Team
With performances all around the world, the U-Show Team’s four women and eight men have perfected their every move. The team’s amazing abilities also inspired in spectacular presentations by Audi and Nespresso. Along with pop star Anastasia, the U-Show Team was also part of the Swiss Art on Ice tour. In Sweden, the group went on tour with Robert Bronett as part of Stromen. Aside from the precision of the U-Show Team’s exceptional athletes, their artistic versatility is simply amazing. Not only do they spin through the air on trampolines, aerial fabrics, bungee cords, and flying rings, they also perform their extraordinary artistry on a trampoline structure that was custom built for the Friedrichstadt-Palast. With speed, body control, and utmost concentration, U-Show Team’s performances melt into breathtaking show experiences. |

Andrey Katkov
After successfully performing on the climbing pole and the Russian bars, he started concentrating on becoming an equilibrist. While trying out different styles, he was continuously expanding his repertoire. Andrey Katkov eventually met the well-known Russian choreographer Ruslan Ganeev, who created his actual programs Vampires and Ambassador. Katkov’s acts are so impressive because of the combination of a unique human flexibility, aesthetic movements, and ambitious illusions. Andrey Katkov won awards for both his programs at the prestigious festival for young talents, the Cirque de Demain in Paris, where he made the third place in 2005 and second in 2007. |

Malvina Abakarova comes from a family of artists and has already performed in the U.S., China, and much of Europe. Before being drawn to the world of entertainment, Valery Sychev was a highly successful gymnast and member of the Russian national team for three years, among other things. As an artist, he already wowed audiences on Broadway as a member of Cirque du Soleil and in China, where he performed over the course of two years. In 2004, Abakarova and Sychev founded ‘Desire of Flight’ and have since fascinated audiences in Italy, England, Norway, France, and Russia, among others. The duo already received awards for their beautiful aerial silk number at numerous international festivals, such as Moscow and Saint Paul, France. With their stunning performances, ‘Desire of Flight’ will also captivate the Berlin audience at Friedrichstadt-Palast. |

Flying Steps gained a lot of experience in the entertainment industry during their career. They focus on spectacular show concepts which they already performed at countless international top-class events. Flying Steps opened up a dance school in Berlin – the Flying Steps Academy – where they teach the next generation of Urban Dance in order to establish a basement for the promotion of young talents. |

Alexandra Georgieva
Still in 1985 she finished her traineeship at the State Opera of Sofia and committed to a position at the State Musical Theater in Sofia. In 1990 she joined the FriedrichstadtPalast as a dancer, and no more than six months later she got her first soloist part. For 23 years she had been performing on stage, 18 of which on the world’s biggest stage. In spring of 2008 she concluded her dancing career. Since summer of 2008 she is the director of the worldwide unique ballet ensemble of the Friedrichstraße 107. Additionally, she worked as a choreographer for the sensational girl line in the winter show WinterTräume. |

Daniel Behrens
At the age of 25, Daniel Behrens took over the musical direction of Jekyll und Hyde at Cologne’s Musicaldome, followed by his work as conductor for Cats, Saturday Night Fever, Aida and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. As arranger and keyboard player, the versatile musician also worked for various German television shows (RTL, Sat.1, NDR and Viva) as well as for artists such as Lucy Diakovska (No Angels) and Götz Alsmann. Most recently, the 32-year old Behrens worked as conductor for the production of Dracula at the Musicalfestival Graz and Spamalot at Cologne’s Musicaldome. As pianist, he also featured in the production of Kiss me Kate at Komische Oper Berlin. Having already worked as musical director for Elisabeth at Theater 11 in Zurich and the Stadsschouwburg Antwerp, Daniel Behrens was also responsible for the musical direction of the musical’s German tour. Since the 2010/2011 season, Behrens is musical director at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin. |

Growing up in Alabama listening to the songs of jazz and blues greats of the time, it was not without reason that Dorothea Lorene already had the desire to dedicate herself to music at a very young age. No sooner said than done: as a young woman, she already celebrated successful club gigs with different bands in Las Vegas. This was followed by a big tour with The Platters, performances with soul greats such as Bobby Womack and Millie Jackson, and other big shows in the entertainment capital Las Vegas.

The twelve-member U-Show Team from Ukraine regularly astounds its audiences with spectacular trampoline shows. Andrey Kozlenko, head of the group, founded the team in 2007. Due to the team’s demanding program, he only picked former top athletes who were medal winners in national and international championships.
Andrey Katkov was born into a family of acrobats in Moscow. At first, he focused on sports gymnastics. 14 years of consistent training earned him the degree Master of Sports.
‘Desire of Flight’ – the name of this flying acrobats duo says it all: Russian artists Malvina Abakarova and Valery Sychev perform fascinating and passionate acrobatics in dizzying heights; a wonderful cross between drama, dance, and acrobatics.
The Flying Steps were originated in the year 1993 in Berlin and they are considered as one of the most successful Urban Dance Crews worldwide. They specialised themselves on the Urban Dance forms B-Boying (Breakdance), Popping and Locking and they became world champions in these dance styles several times as they won the international Battle Of The Year and the Red Bull Beat Battle. During the last years the crew started to also include other popular dance styles like Hip Hop and House into their performances.
Born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Alexandra Georgieva started her dance career at the age of 6. Three years later she attended the State School for Ballet and Choreography in Sofia, where she graduated in 1985 as a state certified stage dancer. The world’s best dance pedagogues were among her teachers: Maris Liepa, Fea Balabina and Professor Kalina Bogoeva.
Daniel Behrens’ career seems to take off in record speed. Born in Dülmen, he studied orchestra direction in Cologne as well as keyboards and music production in Münster. During his studies, Behrens already worked as musical director and keyboard player for Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Oliver!, and Hair.
